Direct capillary diazo based film manufacturers have been limited to offer commercial films no thicker than 80 microns. These thick stencils are becoming increasingly popular for printed wire board assembly, ceramics, fine art reproductions, decorative signage and designs, sandblasting wood and glass, and textile applications. Screen printers have been looking for an alternative preparation methods for extremely thick stencils to improve their production capacity, reliability and job quality.
