Product OverviewFoil is an exciting product that adheres to various types of fabrics. Foil transfers can be a valuable asset for any printer wanting to create an eye-catching graphic effect. It also makes an interesting alternative for applications that have reflective inks. Foil is a great way to accent any garment. It is simply done by heat transfer applying the foil onto screen printed designs with plastisol inks or screen printable adhesives.
Product InstructionsINSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOIL
Make a smooth, solid print on the garment.
Flash Cure the print as you typically would any underbase ink.
Place the printed garment on the heat press platen and set the temperature to 330º F with heavy pressure.
Cut a piece of foil that is slightly larger than the printed image.
Place the foil with the color side up directly over the printed image.
Place a piece of test material or cloth over the foil to help keep the foil to lay flat on the printed garment.
Close the press for 10 seconds.
Open the press gently so you don't move the foil.
Do not remove the top carrier sheet from the foil.
Help cool the foil with a piece of test material for at least 15 seconds.
Peel the top carrier sheet from the garment carefully.
Every roll is 200' in length.
